I am excited to share the news that the John Boorman penned sequel to Hope and Glory is about to receive a cinema release. You can also rent it online so no need to leave the comfort of your living room...
Queen and Country: in cinemas and on-demand
The boy who blessed Adolf for bombing his school is now all grown up and the hero of this sequel to Hope and Glory. Bill (Callum Turner) is now 18 and on National Service, opting to chase women and avoid the Korean War.
John Boorman's story is once again drawn from his life. Its characters are rich and fleshed out, and the director is supremely skilled at recreating what Sight & Sound called "an awkward, flailing, post-war Britain… clinging on to outmoded, meaningless conventions."
Co-starring Richard E. Grant, David Thewlis and Tamsin Egerton, Queen and Country is now available on the same day as its nationwide cinema release on desktop, Android and iOS devices. Click here to rent Queen And Country
